It’s no secret that we enjoy live music here at GB, and last week Kathy went down to the Barfly in Camden to check out a few upcoming new French bands!

The  French were out in force at HMVs Next Big Thing in the Camden Barfly last Wednesday.

First on stage was brother and sister duo Singtank. The pair gave a great start to the night with the popular Party and Nuthouse.

We Were Evergreen followed with a refreshing set. The band hailing from Paris, had the crowd in the palm of their hand with the fun, fresh, and catchy tunes like Eggs and Tambourine Like a Clown to name but a few.

It was the Jedward-esque headliner Revolver who stole the show. Fresh from recording their second album, the french boys kept everyone entertained with their upbeat tunes. Their stage presence was felt throughout the packed pub, and their energy was as high as the lead singers hair as they blasted new tunes from their forthcoming album, such as Losing you and Parellel lives.
